Freelancer started the job strong and promised the work would be done in an week. I provided detailed specs and knew that one or two parts were technically challenging. He tried hard to make it work but it was taking a lot of time. I increased the milestone payment at his request but ultimately he could not get a key deliverable done. The work he did perform was done well and he was in frequent contact with me.
